Friday is famously know as poets day. It stands for piss off early tomorrow’s saturday.
Honestly I didn’t understand that. So I’m confused 😦
If you take the first letter of each word ‘piss off early tomorrow’s Saturday’. Then you get poets. So friday is poets day.

I that this is “piss off” in the British sense, meaning to stop work early, rather than to get angry.
