I was scared
I was young
I was an outsider
I adapted, and changed
I am a football freak now
American football now
I understand what it is like to be an outsider
Either change or try to hang on to yourself
I changed, but still have my identity intact
I didn’t necessary change, but grew as a person
And in the end that is the whole purpose of me being an exchange student
Thank you for the follow, I look forward to reading your posts 🙂 All the best!

Thanks 🙂
Thank you for the visit and deciding to follow me.
Very nice write, enlightened and growing is good.
Hey dude, I like this one too. It’s scary moving to a new place. I can’t imagine how scared you were moving to a different country. I recently just moved to Houston, Texas from New Jersey and i was pretty nervous. I like how you made the distinction between Football and american football. I think american football should be called “Handball that you kick sometimes” Soccer is the real football. 🙂
I’m glad I’m not the only American that thinks ‘football’ should be called something more appropriate. 🙂
If only soccer in America was mode popular
It’s so strange that it’s not more popular here . . .
Yeah so weird
yeah it just makes more sense that way.
It’s good to keep your “identity intact.”

Very well put. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing this part of your life! I can never get into American Football we just watch Football in our family or what people call “soccer” but we call it REAL FOOTBALL! haha but yes it’s cool to try new things and find new things to like. I’m just learning to try new things and its always a scary, but amazing experience!
