It’s simple, gives a simple message of longing. Have you tried crafting stories within poems, rather than just declarations of feelings? Or perhaps a story of one’s changing feelings?
Most of my blog poems are very short. In the book I’m currently writing in it is a bunch of separate poems making up a whole story.
