Provoking smells
Always delicious
Now I shall eat
Every last bite
Ready for more
Answers my hunger

Filling an empty shadow

I wanted you to know
That the pain I keep inside
Keeps me alive
And I know I’m broken
But everyday I’m looking
A solution, an answer, to fix me
I don’t need outside help
I just need time
Time to see the invisible answer
One day it will creep out of the shadows
And I’ll replace it with my own shadow
Beats of a black box

Bringing out the lies
The layer of truth revealed
A black heart shatters

Pounds of concrete in my eyes.
Glimmering Gimmicks

There is a secret being told behind those walls
The same walls that let through love
Someone’s back has been stabbed
His daggers never leave his side
The same room with elegant pictures of love
Also has dilapidated lies under the bed
All I’m saying is
They will greet you with a firm handshake
with the other hand behind their back
If you are lucky
You might see the glimmer of the blade
