SPORTS BLOG

So, I Love to Write! I really enjoy crime, and really anything related with bad human actions, and the question why do some people do bad things?. I also really enjoy Poetry. I am currently writing a crime novel, and a poem story. I love reading about other peoples stories about writing, and sharing ideas about writing. It keeps me going and something to look forward to when I get home from school or work.

I was born in Russia. Learned English. Still sometimes hard for me to understand grammar and pronunciation, but I still love to write? What? Yes, even though at times I reread my lines and say why did I write that or someone points out a mistake, and I say My way sounds right… I still manage to keep pushing through. Ultimate goal is by 23, to have published a book.

  6. J says:

Sweet Good luck! I too have a thirst for human behavior and actions – especially when looking at their negative actions. I compare them with myself and wonder – how? Why? For what? That is probably why i chose to get educated in criminal justice, why I am pursuing a career as a police officer, and why I am currently a police dispatcher. It is all very interesting.

  7. Good to hear your following your dream man. Don’t give up, do what you love and you will forever be happy. Peace and Good Vibes

  8. Fleck says:

You mentioned you enjoy writing about ‘bad human actions’- I’ve discovered that writing about the absurd, the lewd, the “bad,” (if you will) always seems to tap into my creative side. It’s very difficult for me to Be inspired by the so-called “inspirational.” That’s ironic, isn’t it?

Your poems remind me somewhat of Frank O’Hara’s way of writing…first thought, best thought, simple and true and beautiful. Having a book published by 23 is a wonderful goal to have, and I wish you much luck!

Look forward to reading more of your writing!

Thanks for following me! πŸ™‚ Other than your Russian background, I think we have some similarities. I do poems, want to get a book published, all that – and I’m young.

  20. THANKS for subscribing to my funny-caption photoblog, TheDailyGraff.com. I hope I can bring you a smile (or at least a groan) every weekday.

I hope you achieve your goal of publishing a book. Consider self-publishing. I did using Amazon’s self-publishing arm, CreateSpace.com: http://www.amazon.com/More-Later-Letters-University-Edition/dp/1484815955/ref=tmm_pap_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=1373977324&sr=1-2

  31. If writing is your passion, you will make it happen. I started writing at an early age and was able to make a career of it. I remember attending a writing conference in my early days of writing and the speaker said “only 10% of you in this room will make it as writers”…I vowed then and there that I would be in that 10%! Great to meet a fellow writer! Thanks for visiting and following my blog.

I wish you all the best in your writing career–a really good crime novel is hard to find these days. I, too, am fascinated with crime–and why people do the inhuman things they do to one another; sad–but fascinating no less. Keep writing poetry too, please–it can be a gentling pastime.
