I feel the same. You can name maybe a dozen poets, but can you name more? I honestly can’t and I like Poetry, is that bad? Just thought it was a cool quote and gets you thinking why isn’t poetry more popular. I just think it’s because it’s a hard skill to write, and read, and comprehend. You can read a poem, but can you really understand it, or see the beauty in the structure of the poem. Just a couple of thoughts 🙂
