Once upon a sunny day,
Kids played outside.
Their screeches could be heard five blocks away,
The sun would go down, yet all stayed outside-
Hiding and seeking like the day had just begun.
Hot and sweaty messes for dinner
But the mothers could care less.
Those were the days of true enjoyment,
And when all was said and done the kids fell asleep at the sights of their beds.
Dreaming of another day of pure excitement.
Once upon a sunny day,
All the kids would return to play.

I was scared

I was young

I was an outsider

I adapted, and changed

I am a football freak now

American football now

I understand what it is like to be an outsider

Either change or try to hang on to yourself

I changed, but still have my identity intact

I didn’t necessary change, but grew as a person

And in the end that is the whole purpose of me being an exchange student

Motors blasting through the window

Joggers ipod sounds coming through

Small kids with loud voices coming through

The music on my laptop

Keeping my morning together

Kids

Kills with noise
In trouble always
Demanding more
Stopping at nothing

Had the parents punished themselves?

A child, just one, biggest task of life

A hard, cruel work of art

A gritty deed that we do

Pool time.. Yes
… No I had a good writing idea to write
If only they made underwater computers

Acting my age

Pool time is over
Pool absolute disaster
Can’t get any worse

Kids are whispering
First time I have seen manners
Maybe a good day?

Thank you crib
